What an adjuster is looking for after hail

Hail claims turn on documentation, and most denials we see are a documentation failure rather than a damage one.

They count hits in a test square

A ten-by-ten square per slope, and a threshold number of impacts. Fewer than that and the slope is not approved, however bad it looks from the ground.

Soft metals tell the story

Gutters, vents and flashing dent before shingles bruise. If those are clean, a hail claim is a hard sell.
